### **Biography**
I’m **Senior Researcher** and head of the **Distributed & Intelligent Connectivity (DISCO)** research group at the [Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)](https://www.list.lu/), working on **5G/6G networks**, **smart mobility**, and **IoT**. Our goal is to develop practical, scalable solutions for next-generation connectivity - from network architectures to intelligent systems supporting users and infrastructure.
Previously, I coordinated LIST’s internal 6G strategy as **6G Technology and Innovation Line Manager**, helping align research efforts, foster collaboration, and shape the institute’s positioning on future network technologies.
My work spans a variety of projects across Europe, combining technical depth with real-world impact - from high-TRL demonstrators to strategies for **intelligent, distributed systems**. These efforts often bring together researchers, industry partners, and public stakeholders to address shared challenges in areas like **mobility**, **network performance**, and **urban innovation**.
I value **science communication**, **cross-sector collaboration**, and building bridges between **research and society**. My experience includes both academic research and entrepreneurship, and I believe in making digital technologies accessible, trusted, and useful in everyday life.

The following showcases some of the key milestones and achievements throughout my career.
---
### **2024-2025**
- **Head of the Distributed & Intelligent Connectivity (DISCO) research group at the [Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)](https://www.list.lu/)**.
- DISCO explores how future 6G systems can integrate communication, computation, and AI into intelligent, distributed, and scalable infrastructures. The group focuses on designing adaptive, programmable networks that deliver resilient, low-latency services across the mobile-edge-cloud continuum. Its activities span network planning for urban and mission-critical environments, autonomous and AI-native networking, and distributed intelligence for smart city and mobility applications. The group’s ambition is to help shape the next generation of connected systems and establish a strong European position in 6G and Beyond research and innovation.
- **Coordinator of the [[6G-TWIN]] project** on [[Network Digital Twin]].
---
### **2022-2024**
- **6G Technology and Innovation Line Manager at the [Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST)](https://www.list.lu/)**.
- **Authored LIST’s 6G strategic roadmap** (2022–2024) within the ITIS department, aligning research objectives with European priorities and societal needs, while simultaneously **coordinating LIST’s 6G activities** within the department.
